EMET (אמת) is the Hebrew word for Truth. It is composed of the first, middle, and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet — symbolizing that Truth spans everything from beginning to end. It is the foundation of God's character.

God promises in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has plans to prosper you. Finding God begins with an open heart, honest prayer, and engaging with Scripture. Our community is here to walk that journey with you.

What do I do if I feel far from God?

Feeling distant from God is more common than you think. James 4:8 says 'Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.' Start with honest prayer, read the Psalms, and connect with a faith community.

Does God hear my prayers?

Yes. 1 John 5:14 promises that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. God is not distant — He is present, attentive, and deeply interested in every detail of your life.

EMET is composed of the first, middle, and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet — read right to left. Truth spans everything, from beginning to end. It is the foundation upon which all things stand.

Truth From Beginning to End

Remove the first letter (א Aleph) from אמת and you get מת — which means "death" in Hebrew. Without God at the beginning, truth dies. EMET teaches us that God must be at the foundation of all truth. His love, His presence, His word — they hold everything together.

Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. The kingdom is built by humility, by lifting others up.
